Dear valued members,
It has been well over a year since everyone’s lives changed, but with the success of vaccinations, we hope to be back to “normal” soon.
Hawks PDX, with the help of Equacorp LLC, procured a building on December 31, 2019. The "new location" was to open in August of 2020, offering a seamless transition between locations. Unfortunately due to Covid, everything has taken much longer than expected. The journey has been made more difficult due to recent price increases in both building materials and labor.
Hawks PDX has had great difficulty with the city of Portland as well. The city is having issues getting our permits taken care of in a timely fashion. What used to take several months of processing has now taken over a year.
Currently, we are about 70% done with our construction, our best projected opening date is sometime in the Fall of 2021. In the meantime, we understand that Steam Portland has re-opened their beautiful facility, we hear a fantastic time awaits patrons there. It may surprise you, but we highly recommend you go and patronize them, as all businesses suffered equally as a result of this pandemic.
We can't wait to see all of you once again, we miss serving you.
Please continue to be patient with us; we are building a phenomenal club that will be enjoyed for many years to come.

We at Hawks PDX wanted to give you an update regarding our new location, we hope you are all doing well and staying healthy. Hawks has received so many emails and calls asking the big question, “When are you opening?”. The short answer is ASAP, believe us when we say that our entire staff can't wait to see our members again, we miss you all terribly. Please know that our new location is well under construction near Mall 205. In the interest of privacy and safety we are not disclosing our exact location but know that Hawks is projected to open in early spring, 2021.
Unfortunately COVID-19 has affected each of us and has changed social and business norms within our community and as a result everything has taken much longer than expected. Items such as permits, equipment and materials are taking an inordinate amount of time to procure and schedule.
Hawks promises that as construction comes nearer to an end we will disclose all of our facilities' great amenities with plenty of pictures to follow.

Today we are announcing, after almost 10 years, our SE Grand Avenue location has permanently closed. The new location, near Mall 205, is still full steam ahead - however we do not have an opening date set for the NEW Hawks PDX, perhaps around Fall 2020.
Our landlord did not give us any rent concessions through the pandemic and the amount of rent due through July was just too much. This, combined with the pandemic closure, pointed to permanently shutting down the SE Grand location.
Without you, Hawks PDX would not have grown into the club it has become. We miss our guests and can’t wait to see you -- but there is much work to be done at the new place. Many of you are curious about what it will offer. As we can’t divulge all the details, think bigger, better and even more sexy fun!

Governor Brown announced today the opening of certain counties in Oregon. Our county, Multnomah, is not one of them. Hawks PDX cannot open until Multnomah County’s Opening Plan is approved — at that time, we will revisit our business re-opening plan.

Hawks PDX COVID-19 Hiatus Status:
Hawks opened its doors 8 years ago, so this decision to close, earlier than the state required, was hard for us, but we knew necessary. This hiatus was implemented to protect our guests and employees from contracting the Corona virus. We simply could not make our guests maintain 6 feet of social distancing between each other and our employees. Even though this will be hard for our employees financially - WE will get through this.
We can’t predict a re-opening date right now due to the orders put forth by our federal government.
