Cascade AIDS Project

What is CAP?

CAP stands for Cascade AIDS Project. Click here to learn more about their story. The oldest & largest community-based provider of HIV services, CAP offers full-panel STI testing at Hawks PDX.

When are CAP STI testing clinics?

CAP holds STI testing clinics at Hawks PDX from 4 pm-8 pm on the 2rd Wednesday of each month.

At the moment, we have only one testing day per month. In the future, Hawks & CAP’s combined goal is to eventually add more testing days to the roster, but it is currently not feasible for our organizations.

If you are unable to make it to the CAP testing clinic, there are STI testing clinics held at Hawks every Tuesday from 5 pm-8 pm provided by Multnomah County.

How do I get on the sign-up list?

Sign-ups are only accepted in-person and on a first-come, first-served. We cannot accommodate anyone calling in prior to arriving to be added to the sign-up sheet.

However, if you are on your way, you can call ahead to let us know we should expect another sign-up. Calling ahead lets our expert CAP testers know they should stick around for a little longer (if possible), and our staff can let you know if there is still room on the list.
