Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, it’s natural to have questions. Hawks PDX is more than a bathhouse—it’s a community-powered space for queerness, connection, and healing. This FAQ is here to help you feel informed, comfortable, and excited about your visit.

Our culture is rooted in radical inclusion, consent, and joyful liberation. That means no shame, no judgment—just a space where you can show up as your whole Self.

Frequently Asked Questions

Membership & Access

Do I have to have a membership?

Yes. Hawks PDX is a private members-only space. That means every guest needs an active membership to enter. If you're coming in on a short-term rate, don’t worry—membership is already included in the price.

What are your membership options and how much do they cost?

We offer daily, short-term, and long-term memberships—so you can choose what works best for your visit. You’ll find all the details, including pricing and what's included, on our Membership page.

Can I buy a membership online or over the phone?

Not at this time. To keep your information private and your membership secure, all transactions happen in person. That way, we can make sure everything goes to the right account and stays confidential.

What if my ID is expired?

We do require a valid ID to enter Hawks PDX. If your ID is expired or you're unsure what forms are accepted, please check out our ID Guidelines for the full list of acceptable identification and what to bring.

I’ve visited before, but I’ve changed my name. Can you update my profile?

Absolutely. Just bring your new ID and a document that shows the name change. That way, we can make sure your profile is updated correctly—and you’ll never have to see your old name in our system again.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept most standard forms of payment, including debit cards, credit cards, cash, and Apple Pay. At this time, we do not accept personal checks or payment apps like Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp.

For your privacy, all transactions are processed under the discrete name of our parent company—your receipt will never show “Hawks PDX.”

Community & Events

It will be my first time at Hawks PDX. What should I expect?

Welcome! We’re so glad you’re thinking of joining us. To get ready, take a moment to read through our Club Rules and the Your Visit page. It’ll give you a feel for what to expect and help make check-in super smooth.

What are Hawks’ all-gender events and hours?

We host multiple events across the week for our gender-expansive communities

  • Bi Nights on Sundays and Tuesdays are open to all genders and orientations.

  • Friday Mixxxer is for the full LGBTQIA2S+ community.

  • TRANSOCIAL, every third Saturday, centers trans community and is all-gender.

  • Puppy Pile-Up, on fifth Saturdays, welcomes pups and handlers of all genders.

Check our calendar for a full list of upcoming all-gender events.

Why don’t you make one Sunday gay-only?

We totally get the question. We’ve built a steady weekly rhythm that a lot of members count on. Changing it would mean disrupting folks' routines and expectations. Right now, the schedule works well for our broader community—and we’re aiming to keep things flowing peacefully.

I want to host an orgy at Hawks. Is that something you allow?

That sounds like a fun idea! Reach out to us with your plans—we do offer special rates for larger groups and private gatherings.

Attire & Facilities

Do I have to be naked?

Street clothes are not permitted inside the club. Acceptable attire includes robes, bare feet, clean flip-flops or shower shoes (from home or borrowed at the front desk), nudity, towels provided by the club, jockstraps, or appropriate fetish gear.

Do I have to rent a locker or a room?

Yes—all guests (except those coming just for STI testing) need to rent either a locker or a room. If you go for a room, it includes a locker inside—so no need to get both. And if you start with a locker and change your mind, you can upgrade.

Are condoms available?

Yes. Free condoms are available throughout the club. We also sell toys, lube, jockstraps, and other items at the front desk.

Do you serve food or drink?

Yes! Our snack bar is stocked with sodas, candy, chips, and other quick bites. We also offer a selection of hot food—like chicken pot pies, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, and corndogs. From time to time, we fire up the grill for BBQ nights with hot dogs and burgers.

Policies & Safety

Are bags allowed?

Only small bags (fanny packs, toy bags, or small shoulder bags) are permitted. Please bring only what you need—food, drinks, lube, apparel, and accessories are available for purchase inside.

All bags are inspected upon entry. Refusal to comply will result in denied entry. Suitcases, luggage, and large backpacks are not permitted.

Can I use my phone inside Hawks?

Phones and other devices with cameras are not allowed in public areas. Discrete phone use is permitted only in private rooms or at your locker. Photography and recording are strictly prohibited, and staff may ask to check your device if there’s concern. If we see your phone out in public spaces, we’ll ask you to put it away.

The best practice? Leave your phone in your locker. Hawks is your time to unplug, recharge, and be fully present.

Is smoking allowed?

Yes, but only outdoors. We have a dedicated smoking patio where cigarettes, vapes, and 420 are permitted. Smoking or vaping indoors is not allowed. Alcohol, non-420 recreational drugs, and solicitation of substances are prohibited.

Do you serve alcohol?

No. Hawks PDX is a sober space.

Are animals allowed?

No animals are allowed inside. Pup play, however, is absolutely welcome.

What if I don’t feel comfortable?

Harassment of any kind is not tolerated—this includes sexual harassment, stalking, bullying, body-shaming, racism, homophobia, transphobia, gender-shaming, or any other disrespect. Consent is required at all times.

If you feel unsafe, please tell a staff member right away. Violators may be asked to leave immediately and risk permanent banning. Our team is here to protect and support you.

Our team is always here to help. If your question isn’t answered here—or if you just want a little extra guidance—reach out to us at the front desk or online. No question is too small, and every curiosity is welcome. This is your space to explore, connect, and feel at home.
